Tufted furniture is everywhere these days, as it was years ago. Headboards, sofas, and other tufted furniture come in all styles, shapes, and forms. Tufted ottomans, which double as extra seating, are a smart coffee table alternative.

Tufted furniture has staying power. Who could forget the overstuffed Chesterfield sofa or the red velvet Victorian settee? Tufting is more popular today than ever. Upholsterers achieve this look by threading through layers of fabric or leather, often in a pattern, and securing the ends of the thread with a knot or button. The dense clusters that this technique creates are known as “tufts.”

Next time you watch an episode of “Mad Men,” look for tufting on sofas and chairs.

Rodolfo Ruiz is a master at auto upholstery.  He loves to restore a seat or a truck bed to its original glory, matching colors and sewing definitive details into his work. Whether a vehicle is modern or antique there is nothing he can't upholster.  Once agin, knowing our customers often need their vehicles, we like to consult, bid, order the needed fabric then have the vehicle dropped off in the morning with it being that days priority so that the customer can pick up that evening.

As the go to upholsterer for Oskar Blues, the Big Red F restaurants and the Stanley Hotel amongst other big names, the Upholstery shop knows it way around a booth or a bar stool.  In order to make the work last, we use high quality marine vinyls or custom hides.
